How to Make Crepes

Can be made without a blender and no eggs. The recipe I brought to make cooking easy for everyone, so anyone can cook.

Ingredients

For the Crêpe Batter:

  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)

  • 2 eggs (or flaxseed egg for vegan)

  • 1 ¼ cup (300ml) milk (or plant-based milk)

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (skip for savory crêpes)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for sweet crêpes)

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

For Cooking & Serving:

  • Butter or oil (for greasing the pan)

  • Fillings: Nutella, fruits, honey, cheese, or scrambled eggs

Before We Start

  • Blend or whisk until smooth—this prevents lumps in the batter.

  • Let the batter rest for 15-30 minutes—this helps make the crêpes soft and flexible.

  • Use a non-stick pan for easy flipping.

Instructions

Make the Batter

Step 1: Take a blender or bowl, add flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix until smooth.
Step 2: Let the batter rest for 15-30 minutes (optional but recommended).

Cook the Crêpes

Step 3: Heat a non-stick or any pan over medium flame. Grease it with oil or butter.
Step 4: Pour the batter, 1/4 cup for every crêpe, swirling to coat the bottom evenly.
Step 5: Cook for a couple of minutes until the edges lift slightly, then flip and cook for another 30 seconds.

Fill & Serve

Step 6: Fill with your favorite toppings—Nutella, fruits, honey, cheese, or eggs. Fold or roll the crêpes and enjoy them warm.
