Here are the ingredients for each type of coffee.

For Basic Espresso (Base for All Coffee Types):

  • Finely ground coffee beans (2 tablespoons)

  • Hot water (about 2 oz / 60ml)

For Cappuccino:

  • 1 shot espresso

  • 4 oz milk (steamed)

  • 1 oz milk foam

For Latte:

  • 6 oz milk (steamed)

  • A thin layer of milk foam

For Mocha:

  • Whipped cream (optional)

Before We Start

  • Use fresh coffee beans for the best flavor.

  • Grind your coffee finely for a smooth espresso.

  • Steam milk properly—froth for cappuccino, creamy for lattes.

  • A French press or moka pot can be used if you don’t have an espresso machine.

Instructions

Make the base for all coffees (Espresso):

Step 1: Depends on which you are gonna use—espresso machine, moka pot, or AeroPress—to brew (the term used for boiling coffee).

Step 2: 2 oz (double shots of, 1 oz means single shot of), so 2 oz of espresso.

Make a Cappuccino:

Step 1: Steam 4 shots of milk (4 oz of milk) until foamy.

Step 2: Pour milk over the espresso, holding back the foam.

Step 3: Spoon 1 shot (1 oz) of foam on top and enjoy.

Make a Latte:

Step 1: Steam 6 oz (6 shots) of milk until smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Pour this steamed shot milk over the espresso, adding a thin layer of milk foam.

Enjoy this latte!

Make a Mocha:

Step 1: In the espresso, add 1 tbsp of chocolate syrup or cocoa powder and mix it.

Step 2: Steam 6 oz (6 shots) of milk and add it to the coffee.

Enjoy your mocha the way you like it.
