It's your very first dressing.

(for the method of starting from chopped to swirl I mention at below after third dressing you can check it right now too)

Dressing Creamy Greek Yogurt Dressing

Step 1: Take a bowl, combine all ingredients together. 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1 garlic clove (grated), salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 2: After combining them, whisk it well and use it. Taste it. Enjoy it.

(It's our second dressing. For the method, check out the presentation section. There you'll get to know the starting eve!)

Dressing Lemon-Honey Greek Dressing

Step 1: Have a bowl, add 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (or mayonnaise), salt & black pepper, pinch of dried herbs (oregano or thyme).

Step 2: Whisk it well to combine all the ingredients. Then you can use your dressing according to your taste.

(for the chopping to even till dressing, you just need to use your thumb to scroll. There is the presentation section, there is your last step!)

P.S

  • If the dressing is too sour, balance it with little oil or honey, it'll balance your dressing.

  • If it is too bland, add more salt, pepper, or herbs.

  • If the yogurt is too thick, add a splash of water or milk.

  • Yes, you can substitute olive oil with any oil—can be sunflower, or avocado.

  • For spiciness, add a pinch of chili flakes or hot sauce.

  • Add olives and crumbled or cubed feta cheese.

  • Swirl over salad with your chosen dressing.

  • Garnish with oregano and a lemon to give the touch of a 5-star restaurant.

  • Rice or quinoa bowl

  • Stuffed grape leaves

  • Falafel or lentil patties

  • Pita bread or flatbread

Most people in the UK keep it simple and fresh. They usually mix olive oil, lemon juice or red wine vinegar, and dried oregano. A pinch of salt and black pepper finishes it off. Some like to add a tiny spoon of mustard or honey to balance the flavors. It’s quick, homemade, and works well with classic salad ingredients.

Greek salad dressing with balsamic vinegar?

Yes, and it actually tastes really good. It’s not the traditional way, but balsamic vinegar adds a little sweetness and depth. You can mix it with olive oil, garlic, and oregano. It goes especially well with salads that include grilled vegetables or a handful of greens.

It’s easier than you think.

It’s a fun mix of Greek and Indian styles. You swap feta for paneer, then mix a dressing using thick yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and maybe a pinch of cumin or chaat masala. It’s creamy and flavorful and gives the salad a new twist without losing freshness.

Why is it called Greek salad instead of simply salad or vegan salad?

Greek salad has a specific set of ingredients and a style that comes from Greece. It always includes tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, and feta cheese. The dressing is also simple and uses olive oil with lemon or vinegar and oregano. That’s why it’s called Greek salad. It’s not just any mix of vegetables. It’s tied to a food tradition from that region.
